Background:

After a career spanning almost 20 years in Theatre, TV and the classical music industry, I retrained and

qualified as a masseur in 1994 then as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist in 2001.  Having lived in London for

over 11 years, where my therapeutic work took me into both the Voluntary and Private sector, I returned

to my native city of Glasgow in 2006. 

Current:

My current work spans both the Statuatory and Private sectors. 

I am an Associate of both The Scottish College of Complementary Medicine and The Complementary

Medicine Centre, Glasgow, and a member of a number of prestigious Professional Associations: 

BACP  -  British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy

SHP     -  The Society of Holistic Practitioners
LCSP   -  The London & Counties Society of Phsyiologists Register of Remedial Masseurs & Manipulative

                Therapists

GCMT - General Council for Massage Therapy

CNHC  - Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council 

I subscribe to and am regulated by the codes of professional conduct and ethical standards of these professional associations, and attend fortnightly clinical supervision.  I also engage in ongoing CPD (Continued Professional Development) demonstrating both professional commitment and accountability.
